Our Childcare Program

Mixed-age group childcare

By engaging with classmates of varying age groups, younger children learn kindness and helpful play, while their older peers gain confidence and valuable leadership skills.

Music activities

Kids can foster imagination and sensibility by knowing different kinds of music and instruments. Playing instrumens along with melody enables Kids to be more sensitive to sounds. As well as being better responsive to sounds, kids can listen to others more carefully with interest.

Movements

Physical exercise makes kids' body well-balanced and stout. Kids can learn how to be physically healthy in their daily lives and improve their sense of balance. Also it helps kids grow up mentally sound.

Creating a Place Where Children Feel Safe

We use large cushions instead of couches to help prevent injuries when little ones take a tumble. Rugs are also placed to help children easily recognize the difference between calm, relaxing spaces and areas for active play.

Daily planned activities

To help children understand the flow of the day, we provide a board displaying photos of daily activities in order. Children choose for themselves by answering, "What do you want to do today?" and then engage in the activities they have selected.
We also use a time timer alongside the board so children can better anticipate and manage their time.
Through experiences of making choices and planning, they develop independence and a sense of responsibility.

Circle Discussion

To foster a warm and engaging atmosphere for dialogue, we hold morning meetings in a circle format.
We create a welcoming environment by placing round rugs so that children naturally gather in a circle.

Reflective Dialogue

During the After Math and After Hiragana sessions, we conduct circle discussions to reflect on the learning. Children organize their worksheets into files and use them to review their progress. This process helps make their learning visible, allowing them to recognize their growth and become more aware of their own learning journey.

Pitstop

This is a quiet time for everyone.
It helps children calm their minds and develop the habit of managing their feelings.
